The Results of Good Friday

Death's Defeat: The Unexpected Turn of Good Friday.
The day Jesus died, known as Good Friday, seemed like a victory for death. After predicting His own demise, Jesus was arrested, tried, and crucified, a gruesome end witnessed by both mockers and mourners. Yet, this apparent victory was a setup for death's own defeat.
The moment Jesus breathed His last, the temple veil tore in two, the earth shook, and rocks split. Even as religious leaders sought to secure Jesus' tomb, death was unknowingly facing its own downfall.
Since the time of Genesis, death has reigned as humanity's tormentor, instilling fear and anguish. But Easter reveals that death has met its match. Jesus, in Revelation, declares His authority over death and Hades, the realm of the dead. Hades, once a one-way prison, was conquered by Jesus.
Jesus also defeats death itself. Though we still die physically, Jesus' victory grants us eternal life. Ultimately, death will be no more.
This victory calls us to action:
Live without fear: Embrace the resurrection's power to overcome anxiety.
Share Jesus urgently: Recognize the danger of silence and the need to share the good news.
Surrender to Christ: Acknowledge Jesus as the victor over death and accept His gift of life.
